[Stars] Meeting Time for this Spring Semester 2014

 This semester we will be having our meetings in* Baker Room 237* on
Mondays at* 6 pm!*


Remember, next Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so we will not be
meeting.
The exec board is also very busy planning for our "It Takes a Village"
event.

This annual event is an educational program hosted by Students Teaching
About Racism in Society (STARS) that educates local elementary school
students about Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy, diversity awareness,
sexism, inequality and classism. This year's event will take place at East
Elementary School in Athens, Ohio.

We are asking for at least 12 volunteers that are great with children to
help us out with this event.
This will take place on Friday Jan. 24th from 9 am to no later that 12pm.

*Dues for this year will only be $5!  *

*We are finally getting T-shirts! *
They will be red with our logo on the front and the letters STARS written
on the sleeve.  They are 10$ and will be in the in normal Adult sized
t-shirts. On the back it will have the quote "Each one, Teach one". If you
are interested in getting one please respond with your name, and size!
*ASAP*

We really want to get these t-shirts before our big "It Takes a Village"
event in *January*!
