So it looks like SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 from 6-8pm in BAKER 333  is what works out the best for everyone. This location is tenative and will likely change, so PLEASE keep an eye out for a confirmation email from me within the next few days.  OK, that's about it!! Can't wait to see what we come up with!! Have an awesome weekend!!

Subject: [Stars] FINAL POSTER CAMPAIGN MEETING

Hello, lovlies:

This is the doodle for the LAST POSTER CAMPAIGN CONCEPT MEETING OF THE YEAR. That said, it's kind of a big deal. Which means fill out the doodle ASAP, and if you commit to come, then PLEASE COME. With all of our minds put together, I know we will be able to solidify a concept that will be just as effective as last year's.

However, I am also fully prepared to make the executive decision of moving forward with one of the ideas that we have thusfar. I don't want to have to do that, but there have been members consistently not showing up to meetings that they said they'd be at, and it's been a continuing pattern. Frankly, that's really not acceptable for something this important. It's not fair to those who DO show up, and it's not fair to the progress of the campaign, so IF YOU MISS THIS MEETING, YOUR OPINION WILL NOT MATTER.

So please please please come, because I love what you guys have to say! I will have it at my house, or we can go to the diner or something, and just talk out the ideas. It will kind of depend on when people are available. Plus, there's about a 95% chance that you will get to meet Leah Woodruff, the photographer from last year!! She's awesome!!

Subject: [Stars] STARS Meeting Times

Welcome STARS Members,
We will have our first STARS Meeting of the year this Thursday (Sept. 6) 6-7 pm in Baker 230 due to the Monday Holiday. Our meeting times for the rest of the semester will be Every Monday 5-6pm! This week we will be discussing our new fall poster campaign and getting together a list of discussion topics for our semester theme: Keeping it Real: How Race Pervades Everyday Life.
