Hey yall!!!!

It's Sarah Williams, the new President of STARS. I hope you guys are enjoying your summer. I'm typing this from Hotlanta where I'm interning with the Obama campaign :) I wanted to see if you guys had any ideas for the upcoming year for events and projects we can do.  If you guys can email me within a week about ideas you have, places you can have certain events and fundraising ideas, that would be awesome!

Also, I'm the chairwoman of the Diversity Affairs Committee (DAC) on Senate this year and they wanted to do a part 2 of Islamophobia. The 10 year anniversary of 9/11 is coming up and I think if would interesting to talk about discrimination against Muslim Americans and any progression since the death of Osama. I can glad forward the contant info of Senate's new Minority Affairs commissioner and MSA

Lastly, I'm so excited about this year. I think STARS is stronger than ever and we have a proven record of success. We can't let our hard work go to waste and we actually work and advocate for underrepresented groups on campus. I have faith in all of you and I think STARS is going to kick ass (again) this year :)
