The open position involves oversight of the Supplemental Instruction program at Carroll. The SI Coordinator will work with other staff members in the Learning Commons and be the primary supervisor for 26-28 SI leaders. The Coordinator also oversees program administration duties and gets to work with faculty members. I have LOVED this job and am so sad to leave it after two years, but the SI Program is thriving and well at Carroll. This is a GREAT intro-level job if you are interested in working in academic support - lots of professional development opportunities and great for supervisory experience.</div><div><br></div><div>For those of you who are not familiar with SI, it is an international program that supports historically challenging courses. Upperclassmen students who have been successful in these classes are hired to re-sit through course lectures and plan and host free, optional study sessions for students in these classes throughout each week. At Carroll, we support courses in biology, chemistry, calculus, and physics.
