Barton College, a private liberal arts college located in Wilson, NC seeks a Coordinator of Student Activities.

The Coordinator of Student Activities reports directly to the Director of New Student Programs, Student Activities, Greek Life & Intramural Sports.  Primary duties include: coordinating and assisting programs of social, entertainment and recreational activities and events specifically during the evenings and weekends including intramural sports and Campus Activities Board events; coordinating the college's student shuttle service, the Hamlin Student Center after regular business hours, and assisting with the marketing and promotion of activities.  Additionally, the coordinator serves as an "on call" professional for Residence Life on a rotating schedule.

 REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, experience in student activities, large event planning, and administrative support (including undergraduate and/or graduate student experience), and a willingness to work evening and occasional weekend hours. Applicants must enjoy being part of a team environment, highly motivated, and self-directed and hold a valid driver's license, as travel is required. Preference will be given to candidates with student activities experience. Position is full-time, benefits-eligible, 10-month live-on position with competitive salary including an apartment and meal plan (when the college is in regular session).
