Qualifications:

Masters degree in higher education, student personnel, education, counseling or a related area; three years of experience advising students and student groups, preference given to those working with fraternities and sororities.

Description:

Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Student Development, the Assistant Director of Student Development will directly advise all fraternities and sororities on all aspects of the daily and long term operations of their chapters. Provide support, training and risk management education to chapter leaders in order to develop effective new member programs. Monitor fraternity and sorority academic performance, philanthropic efforts, service and works with chapters needing additional support to meet National Office and College standards. Directly advise the Greek Council (the student governing body of all fraternities and sororities. Develop, implement and actively participate in a leadership program aimed at enhancing student life on campus and in the surrounding community. Coordinate all major Greek Life events. Serve as advisor to assigned clubs/organizations. Assist with all operational aspects of the Summer Orientation and Welcome programs, and participate in S.O.A.R. (Stockton Outdoor Adventure Retreat). Provide on-site support/assistance for evening/weekend programs as needed. Assist in the development of student learning outcomes and assessment tools for the Office of Student Development.

Salary:

$58,599 to $67,385
