Hello HESA students.  I am looking for a student who would like to help me with a project in the Fall (or Spring) of 2012-13.  Part of the practicum experience would be helping me to run a weekly board gaming program for campus.  This program was started in January 2012 as a bi-monthly program, and is transitioning to weekly at the request of students.  I am currently collecting feedback from students to determine the day and time the program will be held next year.  In addition to helping facilitate the program, there are several "next steps" that I would like a practicum student to work on.  I can be flexible about which you work on, so that we create have the practicum experience you would like.  Some ideas include: an assessment of learning (this could potentially evolve into a research project), building faculty/staff involvement in the program, creating a student volunteer program to help facilitate the event, establishing a student organization (this could evolve into a co-advisor role), building awareness of the program among students - marketing.  I am also open to any other ideas you have about taking this program to the next level.  If you are interested, please contact me to negotiate a contract.
