Marietta College is currently accepting applications for the Education Abroad Programs Assistant. Located in southeastern Ohio, Marietta College is a small private liberal arts college with approximately 1500 students. The Education Abroad Programs Assistant is a 10 month 28-hour/week position reporting to the Director of Education Abroad and will be responsible for assisting with the promotion, management, and initial program advising for semester, academic year and summer study abroad opportunities, programming for study abroad returnees, and the advancement of internationalization across campus. This position is the front person for all study abroad inquiries, organizes programming to promote intercultural awareness on campus, supports international student immigration and academic concerns, and provides managerial support to the Director. 

The position requires knowledge or experience with study abroad management, cultural adjustment issues, student programming and global immigration procedures, as well as attention to detail, basic budgetary experience, strong communication skills and flexibility. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Start date: August 1

This is a 10-month 28 hr/wk position
