Dear Peter,

 

We are pleased to announce two (2) anticipated openings at the Assistant
Director level in the William & Mary Career Center.  I would very much
appreciate your forwarding the attached advertisement and promoting our
openings among your Master's candidates.  

 

While all members of our team serve as generalists, one of the new positions
will help develop a comprehensive freshman/sophomore career development
experience.  The second will focus on career services and programs for
undergraduates, graduate students and alumni seeking careers in the sciences
and technology.  

 

Our expanded staff configuration includes:

 

Director

2  Associate Directors

4  Assistant Directors

Recruitment Coordinator

2  Administrative/Program Assistants

3  Graduate Assistants

10 Student Assistants

4  Career Ambassadors

 

We hope to open the fall semester in our new, free-standing Cohen Career
Center, perfectly positioned between the university center and the football
stadium.  With career counseling offices, a presentation room, a waiting
area/lounge with fireplace, and a recruitment suite with 15 interviewing
rooms, we will finally have a facility that reflects our commitment to the
potential of our students and our appreciation of employers and alumni who
help us do our work.  We will even have a rooftop terrace with a view of the
football stadium!
