[Soma-L] Pre-SOMA updates! WVSOM visit, elections for officers, accepted student panel and more!

Hey Pre-SOMA members,

Lots of info in this email so read it carefully!

1)  Next Wednesday, the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine will be visiting.  Mr. Julian Arbaugh, an admissions specialist at WVSOM will be hosting this informational session at 7pm next Wednesday, April 17th in Grover E208.  Be sure to come out and learn about this strong osteopathic program.

2)  Elections.  We will be electing new officers for the next school year next Wednesday, April 17th sometime either before or after the WVSOM visit.  President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer will all be available.  Don't miss out on this chance to get involved with a leadership role in Pre-SOMA.

3)  There will be a student panel of accepted seniors (both MD and DO) two Wednesdays from now, April 24th, sometime in the evening.  Look out for more info soon on this valuable opportunity to gain advice from students who have very recently successfully navigated the trials and tribulations of applying to medical schools.
