On behalf the Ohio University Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the OHIO Center for Equity in Mathematics and Science, I cordially invite you to a presentation this Thursday, April 21 at 6:30 in Morton Hall 235 by Dr. Kim Yoak. (flyer attached)

Dr. Yoak is a Past President and incoming Executive Director of the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and will be sharing experiences related to mathematics education, as well her own experiences of the ongoing enjoyment of learning from students and colleagues; the importance of the Standards for Mathematical Practice; and the collegiality, strength, and opportunities within professional organizations.

It will be a great talk, and will be relevant to prospective teachers, practicing teachers, and university-based teacher educators,
