This is a terrific group! Consider going if you need an excuse to go to Cincy. Also don’t forget the http://www.ohioctm.org/ annual meeting in Cincy in Oct 14-15.
We will be having our first of hopefully many “MATHY HOURs” (like a happy hour but with math) at Athens Uncorked (http://www.athensuncorked.com/ ) on Thursday, October 8 from 4:30-6:00. We will work on “Cryptarithms” as a springboard for good discussions. Hope to see you there!

Join us next Saturday, October 10, at Mount St. Joseph Univeristy for the next Cincinnati Math Teacher Circle!

We will be exploring life on the surface of a box through the eyes of a bug! We will use materials that you probably already have in your classroom, using activities that could be used from middle school through high school. This will be followed by a discussion of the Mathematical Practices!

As always, there is no charge to attend!  And as always, there will be coffee and breakfast snacks and great conversation!

We will meet in the SCIENCE BUILDING, room 314!
