 Good afternoon,****

I hope all is well and you are enjoying your summer! I wanted to be in touch
as the Phi Psi Foundation is reaching out to various young chapters to
assist with raising the balance of their chapter scholarship fund. Ohio Nu
was chosen because of the relatively small alumni base (and the hopes the
majority of them are still connected with the chapter in either a volunteer
or elected capacity) and along with 8 other chapters have been selected to
be a part of the Join Me Join Us solicitation this fall. This concentrated
solicitation will take place over a 6 week period and will include a mail
piece, as well as email and eventually calling to complete the circle and
gain 100% giving participation from alumni.****

The solicitations and testimonials will encourage Ohio Nu alumni to join one
another and support their chapter scholarship fund. The goal of the
solicitations again is to achieve 100% donor participation from the alumni.
I am reaching out to you as an important aspect of this campaign is to
identify influential individuals within the chapter to lend their signature
and stories to the solicitations to connect with the alumni from Ohio Nu.  I
am hopeful you could identify those individuals (either 3 or 4) who you feel
would be instrumental in assisting me with this. I would reach out to them
and see what an appropriate route would be to take. Other groups have
identified a specific person (an alumnus who everyone from the chapter
knows) a certain study spot (a building on campus or a room in their chapter
house) an event each pledge participates in (baking cookies for a certain
sorority, cleaning up an area of campus), a philanthropic event (each spring
they sleep in cardboard boxes to raise money for a homeless shelter, they
sell tutoring services to raise money for a local school) a room within the
chapter house (where each person must spend one night, where they honor
those who have come before them) as examples of what makes their chapter
unique. ****

Again, in order for this to be success for OH Nu, I would need to be in
contact with those key individuals early on so I could gain their story, the
unique attributes of OH Nu, images, etc. Any assistance you could provide me
with would be great as I hope OH Nu can boast 100% participation of their
alumni at the end of the 6 weeks!****
