[OUWC] Community service

Hello my loves!




1.) Remember, we're helping pack food at the Southeast Ohio regional food bank tomorrow from 12-3. Please meet at Ping at 11 so that we can leave by 11:15. I know finals is coming up but its a good break from studying. Not only does it get us community service hours, but it's really helping the community. According to a recent study, 1 in 6 people in Ohio use food assistance provided by food banks such as the Southeast regional food bank. Many people having to choose between healthcare, transportation, utilities, or education. By helping we are becoming a part of the equation used to reduce the number of people that have to make that choice. The address is: 1005 CIC Dr, Logan, Ohio 43138 for drivers. I will have printed directions for tomorrow.


2.) If you have done outside community service on your own please email me with where, how many hours, and provide a contact name for the place you volunteered at. I will fill out the forms for you so you don't have to worry about it. If you plan on volunteering somewhere over break let me know as well.
