Must demonstrate financial need (through information submitted on the FAFSA). You must complete the supplemental application and submit an essay titled “What Freedom Means To Me”.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:red'>Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 765 Scholarship: </span><span style='color:#0070C0'> Must be a Lawrence County resident attending OUS, full-time. Must be the child, grandchild, or spouse of a Purple Heart recipient. Minimum 2.5 GPA and supplemental application needed. I would think that if a student is the recipient of a Purple Heart, not just a family member, they would also be eligible to apply.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:red'>H.B. Doc Riley, Chapter 51, Disabled American Veteran Scholarship: </span><span style='color:#0070C0'>Lawrence County undergraduate, enrolled full-time, with a disabled veteran in his or her family. Must attend OUS with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
