[Ous-veterans] Veterans Day Tribute

Greetings All!
I wanted to let you know about a couple of things that are coming up.  We are having our Veterans Tribute program on Thursday, November 8, 2012, from 11:30am - 1:00pm, in the Mains Rotunda.  It would be great if you have any ideas for the program and/or if you would like to participate in the program.  I have coordinated this event for the past three years and we have always included music and a guest speaker.  We have also had slide shows from Iraq and Afghanistan presented and different types of displays.

This year's guest speaker is going to be Devin Aey, an Ohio University Athens student, who is the president of the Student Combat Veterans Organization on main campus.

I have also sent out a request for pictures of any student, faculty, staff or family member, who has served in the military, to display a Wall of Recognition for the event.  If you would like to include a picture, please get that to me either by E-mail or drop it off in the Student Services Office to me.

Anyone who would interested in forming a Student Veterans Organization, on campus, please let me know and we will schedule a planning meeting.
