will begin with collective-efficacy because it was my immediate impression from my conversations with my principal and fellow teachers at my school. The middle school where I will be teaching is significantly large, with around 800 or more enrolled 6th through
8th graders. Each grade level has two wings of 6th graders, 7th graders, and 8th graders. Between the two 6th grade “teams” there are separate english, social studies, science, and math teachers. My team is called the Wonder Team. The Wonder Team consists
of me (social studies teacher) and my math, science, and english classroom neighbors/team members. We are required to work together with supply lists, internal/external issues, field trips, curriculum instruction, behavioral issues, and any other things that
we teachers deal with on a daily basis. I love this collective efficacy that has already been instilled in the teachers that I am about to begin working with day in and day out. I truly believe that my co-teachers have a “shared belief in its conjoint capability
to organize and execute the courses of action required to produce given levels of attainment” (Bandura). I truly believe that the Wonder Team is fully committed to progress and willing to focus on teamwork to reach goals.

is something that I have not been able to interpret or analyze up-front, but I have spoken with one of my team members, and I do believe that he believes in his ability to achieve goals. He is a driven individual, as he is in a leadership program in Kentucky
to become a future administrator. As we have found out the past 2-3 weeks in our course work, the job of an administrator is extremely situational; therefore, the way one views their ability to execute effectively when faced with difficult situations can be
crucial. If you are confident in your ability to execute difficult situations in a satisfactory or positive way, then it can help you be more thorough and pure during difficult decision making or while facing negative obstacles or a moral dilemma.
