<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">I am (sadly) not yet employed, so I do not have a lot to compare to. However, I spent about a year and a half at Russell Primary School. One semester was my pre-primary student teaching, then primary student teaching,
and about a half year of substitute teaching. From observations during all of these experiences I would say that RPS is professional and loosely coupled. (These also being two of the aspects as to why this is my favorite district.) All of the teachers within
a grade level work together. They do all of their lesson plans together and try to stay on track with each other as much as possible. From a substitute stand point this is wonderful because if I have a question or an issue the other teachers know exactly what
I should be doing. Throughout my time within this school I rarely to never saw the principal or assistant principal unless there was a professional development seminar or a meeting that we were all attending.

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">The two structures that least resemble RPS are authoritarian and chaotic. I have never, within my college observation years, seen a school run as smoothly as RPS. The teachers, staff, students, parents everyone knows
what they should be doing. For example; on Red Devil Drive there are four schools: Russell Primary, Russell Middle, Russell High and the Vocational School. This allots for high traffic volume for close to an hour. In the drop off line in front of RPS every
morning there are six school staff members standing on the sidewalk. Six cars pull up and then they open the doors and all the students get out, the cars drive off and then six more cars pull up. This keeps the car line moving at a fast pace as to not block
traffic from the rest of the schools. </p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">In Kentucky Russell is known as one of the, if not the, best district. Jobs within this district are very hard to come by, and the school performance speaks volumes. I have met most of the administrators within this district
and I know it is because of them. These people work as a team to build and maintain an outstanding district.
