Things we learned:

1.) Expectations, goals, assignments for the courses.

2.) It's not a course, its a program--all courses should intertwine in some fashion.

3.) We should make a good effort at building and sustaining professional relationships with our cohort members.

4.) We learned something about each member of the cohort.

5.) Introduced to the four perceptual lenses: structural, human resource, political, & symbolic.

Individuals in this cohort should expect:

-To gain knowledge regarding theories & best practices of effective educational administration.

-To participate in class activities.

-To communicate with each other.

-To participate in class discussions.

-To improve upon writing, speaking, & listening skills.



Group/Cohort Expectations:

Groups in this cohort should expect:

-To work together cooperatively in a respectful & professional manner.

-To make lasting professional collaborative relationships.

-To learn from one another’s professional experiences.





Instructor Expectations:

The instructor should:

-Share personal & knowledgeable experiences.

-Provide clear expectations & materials needed for assignments.

-To provide constructive feedback on assignments & assessments.

-Have open communication with students.



Expectations Dr. Larson should have of us:

The students should:

-Act in a professional, constructive manner.

-Attend classes to gain the necessary knowledge to be successful in the program.

-Turn in assignments in a timely manner & meet deadline.

-Be respectful of his time & knowledge.
