My name is Jena Catalano (I am in your 3830 class) and I am emailing regarding Yellowcake Shop which is a Cleveland-based, handmade women’s clothing company run by Project Runway Alumna, Valerie Mayen.

Yellowcake will be hosting a FREE two-day event filled with fun opportunities to make your wardrobe more sustainable. What you’ll find at our “Hi, Fashion” weekend:



-MASSIVE clothing swap just in time for spring cleaning and updating your summer wardrobe!



-FREE alterations on all those pieces you’ve been meaning to wear but needs tweaking



-DIY lessons from the pros on how to mend your own clothes and other basic mending skills.



-SPECIAL GUEST Dina Younis from Dina's Days, our resident Thrift expert delivering invaluable secondhand shopping wisdom on Saturday



-CUSTOM screen printers Snakes + Acey's<https://www.facebook.com/snakesandaceys/> inking upcycled t-shirts onsite on Saturday (first 20 ppl get FREE printing)
