[Ouretail] Internship/Employment Opportunities

Hello All, 
Jessica Izzi, an '09 Ohio University graduate from the Retail Merchandising and Fashion Product Development program, wanted to pass some information along to those of you looking for internship opportunities. She is currently employed in LA's fashion district in the well known Santee Alley. There are 3+ large buildings there that house hundreds of showrooms for all sorts of clothing and accessory lines such as Jbrand jeans, AG jeans, Autumn Cashmere (where Jessica is currently employed) Joie, Equipment, etc. Jessica indicated that many of these companies are periodically hiring or looking for interns. The building where Jessica works is called The Cooper building. The link to their blog, where job/internship opportunities are listed, is included below. Lastly, there is the Cal Mart

Out of the 3 main buildings, the Cooper and New Mart are the most contemporary while the Cal Mart has more gift/ decorating items. If you are seeking an internship or post-graduation employment, please take some time to peruse these websites for job openings. Jessica indicated that ideal candidates would be those with outgoing personalities that are interested in going into the wholesale side of the industry.
