Subject: ITAA Undergraduate Student Award Opportunities

Dear ITAA Members,
I want to alert you to Undergraduate Student Award Opportunities with deadlines of August 1 and September 1.

While it is the responsibility of undergraduate students to apply for these awards, I hope ITAA faculty members will encourage their students to apply and mentor them through the process.  Scholarship details, application forms, and instructions for applying are available on the ITAA website under Undergraduate Student Awards<http://www.itaaonline.org/displaycommon.cfm?an=1&subarticlenbr=64>.

August 1 - Regent's University London (formerly AIU-London) offers 2 scholarships - one in Fashion Marketing and one in Fashion Design

Each  $5,000USD award is to be applied towards tuition and housing costs (University coordinated housing only) during a regular academic term (10 week quarter) at the Regent's London campus. The award does not apply to Regent's programs conducted in other satellite locations. The student must be enrolled as an undergraduate in a fashion marketing, merchandising, or design curriculum that has a current ITAA member on the faculty.

September 1 - Blanche Payne Award and Eden Travel International Award

Undergraduate students with designs accepted into the 2013 Design Exhibition should apply for these awards.  Notifications of accepted designs should be sent by mid-July.

Blanche Payne provides a $5,000USD award.  Eden Travel International provides a 2-week internship with Zandra Rhodes design firm in London.

Please take advantage of these wonderful opportunities!
