Hope the beginning of summer is treating you well!  Thought I would post this internship with you.  I know it’s a little last minute but in case someone is interested the details are below.  Also if there are students interested for fall quarter September-November please let me know!  I will set up a skype meeting with them in the next couple of weeks.

It would be a 2 to 3 days a week internship.  The hours are from 11-4.  It’s also $12 a day to cover for their travel and lunch.  Below is some of the things they will be doing for us.

Looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, organized, efficient, quick learner who can take initiative and willingness to handle various responsibilities.
Their experience with Jenny Yoo will give them the great opportunity to learn the workings of a growing designer.  Duties include:
•Swatch Work- filling out orders for clients and wholesale stores
•Steaming Dresses and placing them on the showroom floor
•Filing papers (packing slips, cutting slips, pick slips, customer invoices)
•Creating Binders and folders (organizing different departments)
•Errands/Pick-ups/Drop-offs for our vendors (Fabric, Accessories etc.)
•Attend Meetings (Sales meetings, Production meetings)
•Pulling post wedding folders and e-mail brides about photos for promotional material
•Filing invoice folders.

Hi Dr. Paulins,

I hope your new year is off to a good start!
I thought about you guys because my Production department is looking for an intern.  Now I am the one hiring them!  So hopefully if not this time I can plan a quarter ahead to give them time to apply.  This internship would unfortunately be immediately, but I thought I would reach out to you in case there was a student already in the nyc area and wanted extra experience.
