Description
Crescendo Apparel is a new fashion label for women who struggle to find stylish clothes that fit off the rack. The brand, which launched in August 2009, offers pants, skirts, dresses and wraps designed specifically to fit and flatter women with small waists and full hips.

This exciting opportunity allows for the intern to work directly in many aspects of the fashion world. While working in the studio, the intern will gain hands-on experience with everything that goes into a fashion label from start to finish. This rare opportunity will not only provide an intern with experience in the fashion industry, but with a start-up/entrepreneurial company as well.
Responsibilities

 *   Assisting with planning and execution of special events
 *   Researching and recommending events which will increase brand awareness and sales
 *   Conducting various production related tasks; managing hang tags, production inventory, and style sheets etc.
 *   Engaging with clients to create sales, process orders and provide customer service
 *   Assisting with development of promotional campaigns and other marketing activities
 *   Conducting various administrative tasks in a professional manner
Requirements
A candidate should be a self-starter, motivated and responsible individual whom is able to conduct themselves in a professional manner.  We are looking for an individual who is ready and willing to learn the "ins and outs" of the fashion industry and entrepreneurship. Experience with Microsoft suite is required.

Additional Information
Students can choose their availability. This is a part-time position that would ideally be for 2-3 days a week.   We are willing to work around student's school schedules.

Compensation Details
This internship is an unpaid, academic credit or experience only position.
