Hello!

The School of Human and Consumer Sciences has several Federal Work Student
positions as an Office Assistant available to students this upcoming
academic year.  If you are eligible for Student Financial Aid and Federal

Below is the job description and requirements:

Job Title:  Office Assistant (Human & Consumer Sciences)  -  Job Number:
11050100

General office duties include filing, typing, receiving telephone calls,
operating fax machine, and acting as receptionist in the absence of the
Administrative Associate. Also prepares mailings and produces copies of
materials needed for classes, meetings and other functions as requested.
Distributes mail and goes on errands.  Keep office and workroom clean and
in order.  Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Typing skills
required - 40 wpm.  Computer skills required to include: Word, Excel, and
Oracle Calendar Managing (willing to train on this program).  Previous
experience working in an office setting preferred.  Ability to prioritize
and complete assignments as directed in a timely manner with a minimum of
supervision.  Ability to take the initiative in starting work projects.
Dependability and an established positive work ethic is also essential.
Should be available to work during the noon hour - 12:00-1:00 p.m.  Other
general office tasks as assigned.
