[Ounphc] DZ & FIJI Halloween Hustle 5K Community service

Here are the details about the 5k run/walk. I think it would be a good community service for us to do as NPHC. It also shows our support of other organizations on campus. Someone from each chapter, please email me back with a count of how many people would be interested in doing this event by TOMORROW at 5pm.

Good afternoon chapter presidents!

My name is Lizzie, and I am the President of Delta Zeta. I know I talked to WPA delegates, and a member of FIJI talked to IFC delegates, but I wanted to share more with you about Halloween Hustle,  a costume 5K run and walk benefitting the Starkey Hearing Foundation and the United Service Organization.

Originally, we had the event planned for Saturday, October 25th, however it has been changed to Sunday, October 19th! Registration will begin at 12 p.m. at Tailgreat Park, and the actual event will start at 1 p.m. Participants will receive a t-shirt, water, and light snacks. Those with the best costumes and best race times will win prizes!

We are ideally hoping for 10 members of each organization to participate in the event, but all are welcome! We would also love to send delegates to briefly speak about this event at your chapter meetings, so if you could reply to this email with the date and time of your next chapter meeting, that would be wonderful!

I have attached a registration form for individuals, a screenshot of the t-shirt participants will receive, and a document with more information. Also, just for clarification, the t-shirt has orange writing on the front and white writing on the back.
