Hey OUCTM-ers!!!

The Emerging Leaders Conference is a GREAT opportunity!! I have personally been twice, and I am attending this year. The conference INCLUDES LUNCH and great opportunities to network.  The conference is only 10 dollars. Just print off the flier and mail it in to the address given. I hope some of you will attend with me!!

Hello, Ohio mathematics leaders!

I am writing you on behalf of the OCTM board to ask you to encourage pre-service teachers and teachers with up to 5 years in the classroom to participate in the third annual Emerging Leaders Conference on Saturday, April 2 in Columbus (flier attached).  This event has been very successful during the last two years and is a wonderful opportunity for our newest colleagues to get to know OCTM leaders, each other, and how to become involved in the Ohio mathematics education community.  The deadline has been extended to Monday, March 21 (one week from tomorrow).

I encourage you to forward the attached flier in two ways:
1) To groups of pre-service and in-service teachers with whom you work
2) To a few (say three) specific young colleagues, with your personal encouragement to participate in this event
