Life Sciences Building, Baker University Center, and the Academic & Research Center - Steam Outage


The Department of Design and Construction has scheduled work as part of the Campus Steam Outage Project. The Life Sciences Building, Baker University Center, and the Academic & Research Center will be without steam on Friday, May 29, 2020 from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

As a result, there may be temperature variations depending upon the system capabilities. Facilities Management & Safety is working to minimize impacts where possible in the building systems. Additionally, any special equipment relying on steam to function will be inoperable (for example, some autoclaves are reliant upon steam).
