<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">We will be having an OCEES Research Fair the last day of classes, April 28<sup>th</sup> at 16:00. This is a call for poster submissions for both undergraduate and graduate students
to be entered in a contest with cash prizes for best posters. Feel free to re-present the poster you gave at the Research Expo and simply bring your poster to the first floor of LSB for display and judging – no forms or applications required. We also will
have food an libations to celebrate the end of the semester and have OCEES faculty get together before we all disperse for the summer.
<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">A personal note: This past weekend I was officially elected vice chair of Biological Sciences with Don Miles serving as chair. Because Don and I view this as a co-leadership position
there arises the potential for a conflict of interest as director of OCEES and as vice chair of Biological Sciences. It is with regret that I will step down from my leadership role in OCEES because I believe it is the most ethical thing do. I have been in
a leadership role in OCEES since its start and have held the helm since Steve Reilly retired. With such a long tenure, I think a new director and leadership with fresh ideas would be of great benefit to the group. At this time, the board will initiate a nomination
process to identify a new director to be elected by the OCEES faulty. I have nominated Shawn Kuchta to take the helm of OCEES; others potentially interested in leading OCEES should seek or volunteer their nomination to the board. <o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Jannine Gillett (<i><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black"><a href="mailto:jg746320@ohio.edu">jg746320@ohio.edu</a>)
