sampling, mark-recapture, and occupancy modeling techniques. All three techniques are aimed at addressing detection probability concerns associated with most animal sampling techniques and are commonly used by ecologists and researchers around the globe.
</span><span style="font-size:10.5pt;color:#333333;background:white">Each of the three analytical frameworks will be taught in 3-4 day modules, each covering a range of modeling approaches and tools, both basic and advanced, with additional focus on study design
recommendations. </span><span style="font-size:10.5pt;color:black">All analytical work will be done in the R environment with a range of relevant packages, and all exercises will use real field data.
