...Douglas Futuyma!!!

Thank you to everyone for your input. Dr. Futuyma has agreed to come, so this is set. Many of us learned evolutionary biology from Dr. Futuyma (his textbook is classic). I’m very excited!

Dr. Futuyma will visit from October 14–16, so there will be lots of time to meet him and interact. The more participation, the better. His talk will probably be on October 15th in the afternoon (I don’t have the room yet, so subject to adjustment).

Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the date. In addition to evolutionary biology, Dr. Futuyma is an expert on bird evolution.
