Dear All,
As fall semester ends and spring semester approaches its time to start putting together the spring semester Ecolunch schedule. Faculty and students are invited to pick a date to give a presentation of their work. If you are a graduate student enrolled in BIOS 7000 for 2 credit hours then you are required to give a seminar. Furthermore, please realize that we are offering the UGRIP - BIOS 3880 during spring semester so if you are the presenter you need to block-out the hour after Ecolunch to meet with the undergraduates enrolled in UGRIP. Below is the current schedule and slots go first come, first served.
The exciting news is that we already have 11 undergrads enrolled in the UGRIP course and I anticipate more. This is a great way to introduce your work and attract undergraduates to your lab or field research and get them engaged. They are challenged with all their coursework online and are not getting the exposure to land research opportunities and it is my impression that many see this as a good opportunity. We have some great students enrolled in the program this spring.
