Hi OCEES'ers, welcome back to reality!
Please find below information on an interesting course that contributes to the Environmental Studies Certificate (aimed at those of you who advise students enrolled in the ES Certificate). It would be a great senior class, or even a grad class for those with interests in aquatic ecology.
Cheers,
Viorel

Subject: Environmental Studies Certificate class offering Watershed Management ES 4250
Hello Viorel,
There is a engaging and very useful class offered this term that is cross listed taught by Natalie Kruse and Nicole Kirchner
ES 4250
Watershed Management W 3:05-6:00 PM
Examine the major chemical and biological factors that affect watershed health and how to incorporate them into a watershed management plan in consultation with stakeholders. Discuss the importance of stakeholder engagement and identify key stakeholders and the key social, legal and economic issues that will affect management decisions.
This class will be substituted for the ES certificate, Ecology requirement or the Natural and Physical Sciences. It will be offered on the Ridges, building 22 and also have a field component.
