Please help get the word out and invite classes, etc. to see Dr. Margaret Palmer's talk "Directions in Environmental Monitoring: from Pattern to Process and to Social Outcome" at 6:00 pm on Monday, October 17th in Schoonover 450) - it is free and open to the public.


She is nationally recognized advocate for unifying science and policy for better conservation and restoration of streams and rivers, and is currently the Director of the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) in Annapolis, MD.


Dr. Palmer is the keynote speaker for the Innovative Environmental Monitoring Symposium at Ohio University held in Baker University Center October 17-18, 2016. Feel free to share the attached flyer with colleagues or students who may be interested.
