Please distribute this save the date announcement (attached) advertising the upcoming Families and Communities Interdisciplinary Seminar, which will take place March 22, 2013, in the Quaker Square Inn at the University of Akron, from 8am - 5pm. The seminar webpage, which has additional information and a link to registration, is https://www.uakron.edu/law/continuinged/interdisciplinary-seminar-2013.dot.

This year's seminar offers an exciting lineup of speakers. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to family issues, with an emphasis on best practices and multiagency collaborations. There is no other program of this sort that I'm aware of.

This year's program is co-sponsored by the Akron Bar Association, University of Akron School of Law, Center for Family Studies, and the Kappa Omicron Nu and American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences student organizations.

Please register now. CLE's and CEU's have been applied for (Law, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Family Life Education, Education, and Family and Consumer Sciences).
