Dear Courtney, Nicole, Olivia, Nancy, and the OU Newman Center,

My name is Maura Carpinello, and I work at St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati.  Next summer, we are starting a brand new program that is a post-graduate year of service program, rooted in the spirit of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Vincentian Volunteers of Cincinnati.

VVC will provide 4-6 young professionals the opportunity to live in community together in the West End neighborhood of Cincinnati, engage in weekly prayer and reflection opportunities, and work full-time in positions within the SVdP Outreach Center, also located in the West End.  We think it will be an exciting opportunity, and we would love to share the information with the OU Newman Center.

Would there be a good opportunity for a couple of us from SVDP-Cincinnati and the Vincentian Volunteers program to come out to OU to speak with a group of students?  Perhaps share some information around Mass or a community gathering?

We are a member organization within the Catholic Volunteer Network (who publishes the annual Response directory of volunteer opportunities).
