<i>Digital Distractions in the College Classroom</i>. Digital distraction refers to student use of mobile technology (e.g., smartphones, laptops, tablets) for off-task purposes during class. The book is being published through IGI Global. Given the amount of
expertise MWERA members have related to instructional design, classroom management, self-regulation of learning, academic motivation, and the uses for technology to promote learning, I cannot think of a better group of folks to invite to contribute to this
edited book. </span></font></div>
