I hope this email finds you and your families doing well. In the spirit of communication and transparency, I wanted to send some updates with regard to MWERA business that has been moving forward this spring. Your representatives on Association Council have
been engaged in, analyzing, voting on, and approving the work of the Board. <span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">In order to keep you informed, here is what has occurred in the past month:</span></div>

First, as you know, the MWERA Board voted to postpone the conference until 2021 and notified AC and membership immediately. We appreciated the positive feedback we received in making that tough decision in a timely manner. </div>

Second, after much work at the fall and winter board meetings, the Board recommended various by-law amendments to meet the needs brought on by this pandemic, streamline the working of the board members, and clarify the roles of the board members to be sure
work is spread as equitably as possible.</div>
