<p>Hello from Dan, Darren, Shehzad and Erik,</p>

<p>I hope your semesters are off to an amazing start! You are receiving this email because you are listed as an instructor for a course. We just wanted to take some time and inform you about the Mathematics Tutoring Center, which the department is starting
this semester.</p>

</p>
<p>The Mathematics Tutoring Center is a walk-in tutoring service serving all courses Calculus III (MATH 3300) and below. Similar services are offered by the Alden library; however, we differ in two incredibly important ways. First, graduate students from the
department will serve as the tutors. This means that the tutors will be graduate students who teach or lead recitations in these courses. Second, there will be set hours each week where someone is guaranteed to be present. Starting the second week we will
be open Tuesday and Thursday from 9-12 and 1-4; we hope to add more hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as demand increases. <span style="font-size: 12pt;">For now we will be based in the Mathematics Library (Morton 415).</span></p>

<p>We would like to come to your class and give a short (5 minute) talk at the beginning of class about who we are and what we do. If you are open giving us that time please email us and tell us when your class meets, that way we can get it on our schedule.
If not, then please make sure to mention us to your students.</p>
