<p class="MsoNormal">I wanted to pass along a bit of good news. Yao Liu and Shirley Zhao were MS students in our department back in the 1990s. They have just finalized a gift of $25,000 to endow “the LZ Math Scholarship”, an award intended to support an undergraduate
student in our department. It will still be a couple of years before money from this scholarship fund will be available for award, but it’s nice to see that some of the work we’ve been doing with donors is starting to bear fruit for our students.<o:p></o:p></p>
