Volunteers should wear old clothing and boots. Please meet at the bottom of the Baker escalators at 9:30 AM.

Rural Action Zero Waste Initiative Litter Clean Up Event

When- Saturday November 5th, 2011 Noon-4pm

Where-Meet at Glouster Memorial Park across from Dollar General on Route 13 between Trimble and Glouster

We will probably give a short talk on the Zero Waste Project, then car pool to the site.
Please dress for the weather, it is very possible that it will be cold and/or rainy.

Appalachian Community Visiting Nurses and Hospice

Volunteer Administrative Assistant
2 hours a week (preferably on a Wednesday afternoon)

Assist Home Care Aide supervisor with office tasks (filing, charting, xeroxing) and phone calls. Some office experience preferred, but not required. Training provided. Great for students with an interest in health care administration, human resources, and gerontology, among others.

1.5-2 hours a week
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday

Clean and sanitize durable medical supplies (crutches, wheel chairs, walkers, etc.). training and all supplies provided.

Exercise Physiology Canned Food Drive

Grover Building Atrium 1st Floor Donation Table
October 24th-November 3rd

The Exercise Physiology Club is looking for organizations who wish to be apart of its Canned Food Drive to raise donations for "The Cause Inc.". Participation involves signing your organization up, setting a canned goods goal and simply donating canned goods to the cause. Collection boxes would be located at your clubs office, house, and always in Grover 1st Floor Atrium. Collecting boxes each week is covered.

Bobcat Trail Marathon

Description: Trail marathon entirely within Burr Oak State Park. Volunteers are needed for 2-3 hours to work aid stations at various locations around the park. This is a great team building exercise!!

Where: Burr Oak State Park in Glouster, OH - about 30 minutes from OU. We will meet at the Lodge.

When: First Sunday in November (11/6/2011)
