My name is Brad Evans and I am the Commissioner of Off-Campus Life for Student Senate. I am also in charge of planning Athens Beautification Day. This year's event is Saturday, April 16. We are meeting at Scripps Amphitheater. Registration will begin at 10:30am; we will have a pep-rally-style kick-off event at 11am with President McDavis and Mayor Wiehl. We will then split up into groups and head out to work on various community service projects throughout Athens.

We would like to recruit as many volunteers as possible. Each volunteer will receive a free event t-shirt and lunch after the projects. We know that each student organization values community service for their membership and we would like to encourage you to consider forming a group to join us for this day of service.

Each group of volunteers must register by this Friday, April 1 to receive a free t-shirt. Volunteers can register online at www.beautificationday.eventbrite.com.
