*International Journal of Learning Technology *(IJLT) in collaboration with<br>
Guest Editors, Jean-Charles Marty and Thibault Carron, invite<br>
submissions for a Special Issue on «*Game-Based Learning*».<br>
<br>
This special issue of International Journal of Learning Technology is<br>
dedicated to the exploration of all aspects of Game-Based Learning<br>
Environments. Among all the new technologies changing ways of delivering<br>
education, Game-Based Learning (GBL) seems to be one of the most<br>
promising for enhancing learners’ motivation. Diverse areas of research<br>
are linked with GBL: Technology issues for the development of GBL<br>
environments, studies on new interfaces especially for mobility purpose,<br>
collaborative aspects; but also the pedagogical aspects associated with<br>
GBL. One of the most difficult subjects concerns evaluation in GBL<br>
environments, in order to check whether and how GBL enhances learning.<br>
Social and ethical aspects concerning Games and Society are also<br>
connected to GBL.<br>

In order to ensure that the proposed paper is relevant to this issue, an<br>
abstract must be send to<br>

Abstracts should be a minimum of 300 and no more than 500 words<br>
including up to five keywords.<br>
Submitted papers must be written in English. All submissions will<br>
undergo a double blind peer review process and be reviewed by at least<br>
three reviewers.<br>
