I am reaching out to you because you may have doctoral or masters (advanced) students who are interested in science education, even though they have not chosen the field as their primary area of study. </div>

<p><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:11pt">EDTE 840 - The course explores select areas of research within the field of
science education, including </span></font><span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:11pt">investigations in </span><span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:15px">culture</span><span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:11pt"> gender, society, curriculum, assessment, and the teaching and learning of science in the P-16 setting.</span><span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:11pt"> The course is designed to develop students’ knowledge of particular research traditions, with a focus on the questions under investigation,
methodologies used, theoretical underpinnings, and findings.</span><span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:11pt"> This knowledge is
