Subject: Thesis and Dissertation Services Semester Deadlines for AY 2012-13
To:

<span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">Dear Graduate Directors/Chairpersons and Staff:

Attached to this email please find the schedule of Thesis and Dissertation deadlines for the upcoming 2012-13 Academic Year. Please note that policies regarding these deadlines have changed and have been approved by Graduate Council. The Graduation Application Deadlines will be updated as soon as they are available from the registrar’s office and the note to College of Health Sciences and Professions students is pending approval. Other than those exceptions, this is a final draft.

In previous years, only the Format Review deadline and the deadline to apply to graduate were firm. Beginning in Fall Semester 2012, all deadlines posted on this sheet are final and exceptions cannot be granted by TAD Services.

TAD Services will continue to recommend allowing two weeks before the Format Review Deadline.

The content of the thesis or dissertation MUST be approved by the advisor and committee at this point and TAD will request the signed Oral Defense form at this time. Pre-oral defense reviews earlier in the term are encouraged and can be requested as long as the student has the front matter and references intact and at least three formatted chapters available for review.
