Hell Doctoral Graduate Students:<br><br>As Ohio University moves to semesters, each of you will need to think about the courses and hours you will need to complete to finish your program of study. Please read the following carefully so that you can meet the needed course requirements for this change.<br>
<br>1) If you have finished all course work and are working on your comprehensive exams, proposal and/or dissertation, and are only enrolling in dissertation hours, then you <u>do not </u>need to complete a Transition Program of Study.<br>
<br>2) If you will graduate in Spring 2011-12, you <u>do not</u> need to complete a Transition Program of Study.<br><br>3) If you are still taking classes and/or have completed a program of study but will not complete all of your classes by Spring 2011-12, you will need to complete a Transition Program of Study. <br>
<br>To do this: <br>1) make an appointment to see your advisor <br>2) bring your DARS to the meeting (and any other item such as a copy of a transcript if you think you will need these items)<br>3) using the attachments below, plan out the courses you have taken while in the quarter system and will take in the semester system <br>
4) have your advisor sign-off on the changes. This will become your program of study or your new program of study if you already have one on file but have not completed classes by Spring 2011-12. <br><br>Once the documents are signed, they will be placed on file as your new program of study to complete your doctoral work at OU. This will be the new "contractual agreement" for your coursework. <br>
<br>Please plan to meet face-to-face with your advisor by November 1, 2011.
