Attached is the flyer about the summer ELIP (English Language Improvement Program) courses. These are the Graduate Writing and Oral Communication courses. They're no longer under the OPIE prefix, but are under the ELIP prefix instead.

In the summer, these classes can be taken as part of the normal course load for no additional tuition fees. Students on a university tuition waiver for the 2008-09 or 2009-10 academic years can take these classes with no tuition costs, if they take at least 9 hours of coursework. So that's a great deal!

These courses are especially important to writing research papers, theses and dissertations -- so if you are new to OU, they can really help! They also discuss plagiarsim issues so that you will not fall into the citation trap!
