Hello!

We are exploring competencies needed on the job for professionals working as an instructional designer, educational technologist, technology integration coach/specialist, or related roles. Your insights can help understand what knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitudes are particularly important for professionals in the field.

This comprehensive survey will help to:

  * Identify knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitudes currently needed on the job
  * Determine which of these competencies are preferred to be taught in a higher ed program, and which can be gained at work
  * Determine if and how those competencies differ across industries and roles
As a token of our appreciation, you can sign up to receive a white paper based on the data from this survey.

Please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone else who may be interested in participating.

The survey is the second phase of an explorational mixed-methods study. The information you share with the research team in this survey is anonymous and confidential. It will be reported only as an aggregate with responses of others. It may take around 15-25 minutes to complete the survey. However, your input is very important to us, so if you would like to complete in multiple sessions, click “Save and Continue Later” button and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you would like to receive a white paper based on the findings, submit the survey and follow the link on the Thank you page to add your email address. Email addresses will only be used to share the results with you and will not be tied in with your responses.
