[Itech] AECT – International Division Call for proposals and Become a Reviewer

We welcome proposals to the International Division for 2018 AECT International convention at Kansas City. While considering submitting proposals to the International Division, please keep in your mind the keyword “International” and the convention theme “Learning for All”. The International Division welcomes and appreciates all proposals that:

·         Deal with International issues and contexts

·         Focus on practices/research in teaching, learning, and availability of educational communications and technology in different geographic areas, including the United States.

·         We will also highly appreciate projects conducted in underrepresented communities around the world.
The International Division accepts presentation types such as concurrent sessions, roundtables, posters, panels and the following categories:
Category 1: Completed Study (Report findings from a study that is complete)
Category 2: Work in Progress (Report the progress of a study currently underway (e.g., as a poster session).
Category 3: Research Methodology (Report innovative research methodologies in educational technology)
Submit  your proposal by February 19, 11:59PM (EST), 2018

REVIEWER
We hope that you will also consider volunteering to review proposals for the 2018 conference.  Please follow the instructions below to become a reviewer:
STEP 1. Go to AECT Convention portal:  http://members.aect.org/events/call/
STEP 2. On the bottom left, click on "Proposal Submission"
STEP 3. Login using your AECT credentials.
STEP 4. Click “Volunteer to Review” in your Submitter Menu.
STEP 5.  Make sure your “Personal Information” is up to date, providing information under “Qualifications” that will be helpful is assigning proposals for your review (e.g., position/ experience and areas of expertise). Click “Accept and Continue”
STEP 6. Click the checkbox next to “International,” and then click “Accept and Continue”
STEP 7. Verify the information that you entered on the “Volunteer Report” page, and then click “Accept and Continue”
