open!
To: GLS <gls at lists.wisc.edu>

If you're a graduate student or an advisor to one, the GLS Doctoral
Consortium is a great opportunity! Read on for an announcement from our
Doctoral Consortium committee:

*The submission system for the GLS Doctoral Consortium is now open. The
doctoral consortium is a one day workshop that offers doctoral students at
or near the dissertation stage to present their work to peers and mentors
for feedback. It also provides an opportunity to develop a support
community amongst a new group of peers. The workshop will include
presentations on topics such as publishing, navigating the job market, and
developing a research agenda.*
*
*
*The application should include a cover sheet, a 2500 word description of
your research, and a letter of recommendation from your advisor. Specific
details as well as the application template can be found here:
http://www.gameslearningsociety.org/conference/gls-doctoral-consortium *
*
*
*Deadline for applications is March 15th.*
*
*
*All questions should be directed to the Committee Chair, Dr. Erica
Halverson,*
*erhalverson at education.wisc.edu*

Thank you!

Caro
